Delirious Democrats were dancing in the streets this weekend, even as President Trump refused to concede and his campaign readied dozens of lawsuits to contest the results of the 2020 election. Allegations of improprieties have been flying fast and furious on social media. For mainstream media it’s a done deal as the narrative shifts rapidly to the incoming Biden-Harris administration. It’s over because we say it’s over.
Is it? The trouble behind us is an election that left millions of angry Republican voters convinced the election was stolen right under their noses. The trouble ahead can be felt in ominous rumblings of rebellion and civil war. The seeds for that are being sown everywhere.
Turns out Dominion, the company that writes that vote counting software in a bunch of those contested states, may have some conflicts of interest. Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein’s husband, Richard C. Blum is a partial owner and a top executive is Nancy Pelosi’s former chief-of-staff. The Clinton Foundation has it’s fingers in that pie too. Not illegal, but sure doesn’t pass the sniff test. Trouble ahead?
And how about the recounts? Election audits? Dead folks voting? Number crunchers looking for discrepancies — like more votes than voters? Videos of Trump ballots found in the trash? Signature matching being ignored? Fraudsters looking up the names of people who didn’t vote and then voting for them? Fraudulent backdated postmarks and USPS whistleblowers? Project Veritas is offering a $25,000 reward to anybody who will go on record about voter fraud. Like maybe this postal worker?
And then there’s Pennsylvania, where a lone judge decided statute didn’t matter – the court will rewrite the law and let the votes roll in for another three days, even the ones we can’t prove they were mailed late.
Given all the smoking guns, isn’t anybody just a little worried that Trump might pull this off? Trump has a history of looking like he’s losing – right up until the point where he wins. And if Trump wins, all bets are off. The dancing-in-the-street masses will lose their minds.
Meanwhile the ground is already starting to shake with rumblings of pissed-off truckers threatening a nationwide strike. Whaaa!!?? Yesterday they were heroes, remember? Well the heroes have endured a year of lockdowns that have left them without places to eat or take a piss. And now the voting ingrates added insult to injury by choosing the anti-fracking, anti-gas-and-oil candidates.
This is how it starts, but it may not be where it ends. Stock your pantry with non-perishables and keep the tank full. This could get messy.
Trouble ahead, trouble behind
And you know that notion just crossed my mind
